Mamie and Papi visited us from France for a couple of weeks. They left last Thursday and we miss them very much. Rose constantly refers to them in her conversation :) Mag posted some pics Maman took on her FB page. Thank you Mag! I posted my three favorites.

No news is good news! Rose has been doing very well. A mild cold last week that she fought off like a champ'! The eye appointment last wednesday went very well. We are decreasing the strength of her glasses by a third. The ptoasis is not impairing her sight so we are leaving things as they are. As Rose gets older, we will leave her the option of having eyelid surgery if she wishes to. But this is definitely not on our priority list.

Allergy appointment in Boston yesterday went well. Words from the doctor: "it will be detective work" to figure out which drugs make her so sick post surgery/procedure under anesthesia. Has she developed sensitivity to the morphine, the anesthesia drugs, the IV antibiotics? Rosie's journal on the caringbridge site will be helpful as I will be able to track down which procedures went smoothly and which ones required a hospital stay.
